Gianna collected three hits in three at-bats, as WV Spark (2024) defeated Diamond Chix - Tucker 9-7 on Sunday at I-470. Gianna doubled ​in the third inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the sixth inning.

WV Spark had trouble keeping up with MC Monarchs in a 10-2 loss on Sunday at I 470 Fields.

WV Spark opened the scoring in the first after Gianna W singled, scoring one run.

MC Monarchs took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by #11, and #1.

A steal of home by #20, and a single by #22 helped MC Monarchs extend their early lead in the second.

A triple by #17 extended the MC Monarchs lead to 9-2 in the bottom of the third inning.

Avery B began the game for WV Spark. The starting pitcher surrendered 15 hits and 10 runs over five innings, striking out ​seven and walking three.

Gianna led WV Spark with one run batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Adalyn H stole two bases. WV ​Spark were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Adalyn made the most plays with eight.

WV Spark made the score 4-2 in the bottom of the first after Ryleigh C doubled, scoring two runs, Avery B doubled, scoring one run, and Teagan M singled, ​scoring one run.

American Legion Post 3 took the lead in the top of the second inning after #1 walked, #3 doubled, and #1 stole home, each scoring one run.

WV Spark jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Bailey S doubled, Adalyn H doubled, Julia singled, Ryleigh walked, and Avery ​singled, each scoring one run.

Avery pitched three innings in relief for WV Spark. The right-handed pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs while, striking out four and walking one. ​Gianna W started in the circle for WV Spark. The righty allowed four hits and five runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two.
